Best Picks for Restaurant week 2010

I'm looking for the best restuarants you'd suggest to try for Restaurant Week this year. I know there are So many lists out there, but I'm talking about your Top picks. And it seems a lot of the restaurants that I want to try are not participating... or at least are not yet in the search.

where is richmond hill chaat?

Sorry for the delay...Yes, it's inside the Karahi & Grill place. couldn't remember the name of that place, it keeps changing. I haven't seen a bookstore, but it's right at the corner of 72nd and broadway. And the chat place is called Rupa's Chat Corner. Her Banner is hanging in front. I heard it's really good.

where is richmond hill chaat?

Sorry don't know about the one in Richmon hill. However, my In-laws (they own a shop on 74 st.) told me about this new chat counter in Jackson Heights. It's right on Broadway around 73/72nd st in that 2-floor Pakistani restaurant (sorry can't remember the name). It's a little further tdown the block from the Asian supermarket with the parking lot that's opposite the Astoria federal bank. The counter is on the ground level of the 2 story restaurant... you'll see the banner hanging with the woman's name on it. I'll try to get the name tonight on my way home. I usually go to Sandy's roti shop because I like the Mango curry with my doubles. I heard from my west indian friend that Trini Dlite is really good.

Anyone recently been to Doyer's Vietnamese?

Is that spicy at all? I'm wondering what type of dishes would be considered spicy there.

Anyone recently been to Doyer's Vietnamese?

Thanks! I'll make sure to find those dishes on the menu. I just wasn't sure if the restuarant was still good. I was reading some good reviews, but that was a while ago. Not sure if the recent what the diners would recommend.

Help! Spicy N Tasty or Indonesian/ Vietnamese Food in Elmhurst?

Thanks so much. Has you been to Taste good. Can you recommend any dishes there?

Anyone recently been to Doyer's Vietnamese?

I'm looking to take a few of my girlfriends there tomorrow night for some Vietnamese food. I was wondering if anyone who's been there recently can vouch for their food. I know it's in the basement and doesn't have great ambiance, which is fine cuz we're not on a date. We're just hoping the food is tasty. We're not really biased, since we haven't really had authentic Vietnamese food before and don't have much to compare it to. I was wondering what dishes are recommended here. Thanks!

Help! Spicy N Tasty or Indonesian/ Vietnamese Food in Elmhurst?

I am planning to take my family out for dinner tomorrow night and wanted to try something new. We've never had Indonesian or vietnamese cuisine and was hoping for some suggestions. The family usually likes their food a bit spicy, which me and DH can bear but prefer more moderate spice. However, I have no idea which cuisine to pick. I was planning on taking them to the Elmhurst/ Broadway area to either Minangasli or either of the Pho restaurants in the mall. Please help... I need suggestions of which place you'd recommend and which dishes to order. I'm looking to order chicken, fish, pork, tofu and some sort or noodles. I was going to take them to Spicy & Tasty in FLushing, but wasn't sure which dishes to order there either ,besides the Ma po Tofu. Also, my Chinese co-worker also mentioned that the upstairs dining room had a bad smell.... which why I'm a bit confused.
