Best meal I ever ate:

There is no one best meal I've ever eaten. Food is like sex, there are many, many different ways for it to be wonderful. And awful.

My current drink of choice:

Alcoholic? Hard cider, Procecco, Metropolitans, Bloody Marys. Non-alcoholic? Pepsi One, herbal mint tea, orange freezes.

I really wish I could:

develop knife skills like a professional. It will NEVER HAPPEN! I am WAY too butterfingered!

My "Go-to" dinner party dish:

If it's non-fancy, I am a firm believer in casseroles. I make great shepard's or cottage pie, and even better lasagna. For something like a picnic, I make the world's greatest tuna salad! If it's fancy, I do a delicious stewed chicken thighs with chickpeas and carrots...It has the advantages of being yummy, exotically flavored, and being very cheap to make while seeming fancy.

My favorite comfort food:

My mom's chopped liver? Matzoh ball soup? Hot & sour soup? My Aunt Evvie's brisket? My tuna salad? I mean, how do you pick just one? If you twist my arm and make me pick, mom's chopped liver with onion and hot mustard on rye bread.
