own my own own fashion boutique filled with finds from France
My "Go-to" dinner party dish:
a plate of wonderful cheeses or assorted oysters from around the world
My favorite comfort food:
sweet potatoes - cooked, boiled, stewed or matzo ball soup
My top 5 favorite restaurants:
1. Le Grand Vefour, Paris (for the atmosphere, attention to detail, the food is superb and Guy Martin is as lovely as can be!) 2. Cafe Flore (for Tuna Nicoise salad - I swear it is the best in the world with the best people watching on Saint Germaine, not to mention the cafe noisette!) 3. Kokkari, SF (still love their greek and octopus salads after all these years! And the lamb shank bone is consistently so tender!) 4. Balthazar, New York ( for the unbelievable selection of cheeses and french wines outside of France - great frites, too!) 5. Runway 84, FT LAuderdale, FLA (for the best steak, lobsterr - huge portions of evertything, unique dining atmosphere - a scene right out of Goodfellas!)
My most tattered cookbooks:
Canyon Ranch cookbooks for what little cooking I do - would rather enjoy the fair of the geniuses...
