Fried Chicken for a Crowd-Thoughts/Suggestions?

Thanks for all the help everyone! A friend has suggested frying until brown throughout, then finishing in oven--which sounds downright convenient for this much bird. Anyone have luck/comments on this method?

So I need to cook enough fried chicken for about 20 people this weekend. Any thoughts/ideas/recipes are welcomed (besides the obvious head to KFC kind ;)
