Quincy folks and Alba Lovers: Alba Deli Express
I went into Alba Deli on Saturday - late afternoon. (Around 4:30pm). I was disappointed that their counter was mostly empty. I was really looking to try the chicken liver salad, but alas, they were sold out. They were also out of turkey too.
The fresh mozzarella I got was really good, and the potato knishes were also very good.
I'll try them again in a few weeks- hopefully they will have better selection and more inventory later in the day.

I'm so disappointed that I have not been able to find a gourmet grocery store that has pate in Boston. Plenty of nice cheese shops, but I can't seem to find any fresh pate.
Anyone have any recommendations?

Best bet is to stop at Mystic- about 10 minutes up (north/east) on the highway. It's a bit touristy, but we usually stop at the Steak Loft, right next to the Aquarium. It's right off 95. I usually come from the other direction- when you get off the ramp, you can see it right at the end of the exit ramp.
