What to eat in Dallas?

I know you recommended the sweetbreads but I don't really like them the times I've tried them. Maybe next time.
The flavor of the mussels was good but their texture was a little sandy for me.
I tried a pineapple cider and liked it. The patio was nice!

What to eat in Dallas?

I went to the Meddlesome Moth and loved their chicken skin chips!!! Excellent recommendation.
We also tried the bacon lollipops and Catalan mussels. They were also good but the chicken skin chips were the favorite.

What to eat in Dallas?

We are staying the Omni hotel downtown and yes we will have a car.
Most restaurants I've seen mentioned on the boards seem expensive. Are there any places with affordable prices and good food?

What to eat in Dallas?

Hello!

I'm going to be visiting Dallas for a weekend in June and would like recommendations on where and what to eat. I'm looking for any type of food that is good!!! (desserts too)

I pretty much eat anything and will try anything new. My favorites are Chinese and Peruvian but I don't have to eat those everyday. Budget is up to $20s per entree but I could splurge.

I can't wait to hear your recommendations!

Thanks

Thai Food in Naples?

I've tried Em On a couple of times and it is good!! I usually get the green curry and a noodle dish, so I can't speak for the other items in the menu. I believe they even have some certificate saying that they serve authentic Thai food or something along those lines.

Dim sum

No problem. Let me know what you think about it if you go.

Dim sum

It is good and for sure edible! I have to agree with the trip advisor review, it is the closest to real Chinese food in this area (very sad that Bo Lings had to close). For the dim sum they have a decent selction and you just mark what you want, there are no carts going around. All the food I have oredered has been good, never disappointed. I definitely recommend you to try even if you didn't live close by. I live in Naples and once in a while I take a trip over there.

Dim sum

El Chinese off of 41 and Daniels (same plaza as Outback) is pretty much the only option.

What do you recommend in San Antonio?

I'm a Floridian visiting a friend in Houston and we are gonna be traveling to San Antonio over the weekend. What are the restaurants are unique in San Antonio with good food that we should not miss?
I pretty much love all kinds of food but I am NOT looking for expensive restaurants (budget is tops $20/entree).
Thanks for all the tips!

SW Florida restaurant changes Naples, Ft. Myers, etc

I went yesterday around 8pm and there were about 4 tables. The staff seemed a little disorganized and the waitress apologized for it, but it wasn't a problem.
The food was very good and will definitely try to go back! One little thing was that they don't have all the items on the menu yet.

FT MYERS RECS FOR NEXT WEEK

For Dim Sum I would recommend EL Chinese on 41 & Daniels (Outback plaza) over Charlie Chiangs. I've been to both places and I like EL Chinese way better than Charlie Chiangs. The restaurant is not as big, they don't do carts, but the food is good.
Like An Insatiable Appetite said, Inka's Kitchen is worth it!!!

Are there any bakeries in Naples?

I was looking for a place that had good pastries and make them themselves. The French Bread Oven looks great!

Are there any bakeries in Naples?

Does anyone if there are any good bakeries in Naples? I know that pretty much all the supermarkets have bakeries, and I wouldn't really count Calistoga or Panera as true bakeries. Like a month ago I saw a sign for a bakery called Sweet Tooth but when I parked I saw that it was closed, empty, gone!

I miss Bo Lings!!! SWFL

I was not let down but nor I was impressed. I think they could always expand the menu and start serving bigger portions.

Peruvian Food in Naples

I just realize I misspelled the name, it's Inca's Kitchen. They actually are in Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Naples-...) and had a review in Metromix (http://gulfcoast.metromix.com/restaur...)

Peruvian Food in Naples

One of the things that I missed the most from home is obviously FOOD. So I was very excited to to try Inka's Kitchen (I don't know the exact address but it is on Collier Blvd, south of Pine Ridge in the same plaza as Velocity Sports).
I was very pleased with their "chupe" (one of my favorite soups) and my sister loved the "lomo saltado". The owners are a Peruvian couple that has been in the US for quite a few years and the husband is the chef.
The restaurant has been open for less than a year and it has been a while since I visited it but I thought it would be worth sharing this info. Enjoy!

I miss Bo Lings!!! SWFL

I know it has been a while since Bo Lings had to close but I miss it so much!! So I was wondering if anyone has found a Chinese restaurant as good as Bo Lings in the (Naples, Bonita Springs, Ft. Myers) area.
