Denver dim sum!
I've become partial to Star Kitchen for dim sum lately -- it's on Mississippi right off of Federal, almost across the street from Chopsticks, which does not serve dim sum, but is very tasty Chinese nonetheless.
Off the strip/off the beaten path lounges, bars, good times in Vegas?
Heading to Las Vegas next week and I'm wondering if anybody has advice regarding cool places to go for cocktails, dinner, and kitschy entertainment that are not on the strip. I'm staying on Paradise, but wouldn't mind taking a cab to other parts of town -- just want to see the other side of Vegas. Hopefully this isn't too broad of a question -- any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Best Mexican and Asian food in L.A.?
Heading to L.A. for weekend figured I'd take advantage of some authentic Mexican and Asian meals -- I mean the real deal, not some high-priced knockoff. Any suggestions? It's probably asking a lot, but thanks in advance. . .
DENVER - truly amazing food?
He actually said "but not limited to" those types of food.
DENVER - truly amazing food?
Izakaya Den and Beatrice & Woodsley on the pricey side -- Tacos y Salas #3 for the best authentic Mexican food in town (when I lived in NYC ten years ago, there was simply nothing like this place there, maybe that's changed) -- Lola does a great brunch -- I'd avoid the Italian here entirely, ditto any deli -- and while it's tough to beat NYC for Asian, Superstar Asian compares and is great, as is Kim Ba -- there's also place called J'Shabu that's pretty fun and it's right next door to a Korean BBQ joint that's good too.
Green Chili Cheese Burger
Yes -- Chubby's on 38th & Tejon. Different from New Mexico versions -- they use a green chile sauce, but man is it tasty. By far my favorite.
