Vegetarian Friendly Values in Las Vegas

I think we'd like to keep it under $20 for breakfasts/lunches and under $30-40pp for dinners (not including desserts or drinks).

We'd probably be willing to pay a little more for breakfast if it meant we could skip lunch!

Vegetarian Friendly Values in Las Vegas

My boyfriend and I are heading to Vegas for the first time at the end of March. He is a vegetarian, and I'm not.

We are looking for suggestions of the best places to eat in Vegas that will not break the bank and will be friendly to vegetarians (for example, more than one vegetarian entree choice). Dairy and eggs are ok for him, seafood and meats are not. We are willing to pay a little more for something truly excellent, but we also know even average Vegas restaurants are expensive.

We are open to any type of cuisine, and are interested in places that are both fancy and those that are casual. We are open to suggestions for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

At this point, it looks like we will be staying on/near the strip, but will have a car so could travel.

Thanks for the help!

Best things to eat in Glover Park

This is awesome - thinking about all the deliciousness in my future makes packing my apartment much more palatable.
Thanks all!

Best things to eat in Glover Park

Hi Everyone,
I am moving to Glover Park next month and am looking for some recommendations of the best dishes you've eaten in the area. I'm coming from Houston, so I'm definitely up for any variety of food, but DC is giving me sticker shock, so I'd appreciate some reasonably priced options.

Thanks!

Best authentic Mexican in Phoenix/Scottsdale

Sorry for not being more specific! Staying at the Marriot Desert Ridge, willing to travel no more than about 20 min (maybe 30 if there are other nice things to do/see nearby). Both vegetarians are semi strict. If it said chicken broth or lard on the menu, they probably wouldn't order it. But, they also probably wouldn't ask about the exact preparation, so if it sounds vegetarian, and doesn't obviously contain meat, it's probably ok. Both will eat fish, but only one eats shellfish (sorry- they are kind of difficult!) Luckily no one is vegan. Because if you couldn't eat queso, what would be the point, right?

Best authentic Mexican in Phoenix/Scottsdale

Travelling with 5 family members from the northeast and we are looking for some authentic Mexican food. Two of the diners are vegetarian, so a place with some decent veggie options would be ideal. I live in Texas and know that the best Mexican food is often found at hole in the wall places, so a fancy place isn't necessary, but I need a place that's clean and can accomodate a table for 6. Thanks!

Best in San Antonio with vegetarian options?

Thanks! I'll definitely look into the places you suggested.

It doesn't need to be a place that's only vegetarian - just a place where he'll have a couple options.

Best in San Antonio with vegetarian options?

My boyfriend and I are spending labor day weekend at the Westin LaCantera and we are looking for a few restaurant suggestions! Here's what we're looking for:

Something not super far away from the Westin (we'll have a car, but don't want to spend tons of time in it).

Something cheaper than the restaurants at the Westin (the point of going out is partly to save a little money)

Something somewhat unique to San Antonio (I live in Houston and he lives in Austin, so don't send us to something that we could get in one of those places).

A place with some vegetarian options (he's a vegetarian).

Something delicious!

Other than that, we are open to pretty much any cuisine and level of "fanciness," so send us to your favorite hole in the wall or local hangout or romantic date night place.

Thanks!

Houston Museum District recs

Just to clarify, you are looking for places in walking distance from either the four seasons downtown or the museums that you listed? How are you going to get from the four seasons to the museums without a car?

I think your best bet might be Hugo's. I've never been there but it's been on my list to try for ages, and it gets great reviews. Hopefully someone else will chime in with fist-hand experience. It's about a half mile walk from the Menil.

Some other options to consider would include:
Chupultepec on Richmond - it's a dive, but the food is usually good and cheap. About a mile walk. La Mexicana on Fairview is also good. It's probably just over a mile.

Goode Company BBQ on Kirby is good, but pretty far to walk.

Classy, vegetarian friendly restaurants in Asheville?

I have done some research and come up with a few ideas, including Fig, Corner Kitchen, Market Place, Zambra, Ophelia's and Vincenzo's.

Which would you recommend (or not recommend) and why?

Classy, vegetarian friendly restaurants in Asheville?

I am going on a trip to Asheville with my boyfriend in July, and would like to surprise him with dinner at a nice restaurant. He's a vegetarian, so I'd like a place with mutliple vegetarian options. Somewhere with "special occassion/date" atmosphere would be ideal.

We are students, so I am looking for something where dinner for two would be under $80 or so, without drinks. I hope you can help!
