I have not eaten out regularly enough in any variety of restuarants for a year as of 1/2010 to say to list 5 favorites.
My most tattered cookbooks:
Prefer hands-on instruction and do so. However, the new "The Best International Recipe" by Cook's Illustrated and James Peterson's "Sauces" are favorites at the moment. Mags and online a source also. Continuing learning with magazines. Started cooking in Home Economics in 1971.
