Niagara Falls - Dinner with a View?

We are heading to Buffalo from Toronto to pick up my Grannie for a visit. Would love to take her for dinner at Niagara Falls on the way home. Any recommendations for a delicious dinner, with a possible view? Walking is not easy for her, so we'd like to show her the falls via our dinner outing.

Thanks for your help!

Good "Chow" near Air Canada Ctr?

Hello all,

New to Toronto and we are headed to Kings of Leon tomorrow evening. We have no idea where to go...and thought some of you might be able to chime in?

We are not picky, we love every ethnicity of food ! Any ideas? We are up for anything from a pub environment to somewhere a bit upscale as long as the food is delicious!

Appreciate your help and looking forward to finding all the little gems here in Toronto and the GTA.
Thanks!

Plymouth Dinner Suggestions...help!

We are taking my grandma out to dinner tomorrow, and would love to take her somewhere different than our usuals we have been going to in Plymouth... there doesn't seem to be much to choose from (besides chains...which is a no for us).

Here are some of the places we frequent when we take her out -

Sunsets - Wayzata
Chef Lee
Pancake House - Wayzata
Bukara Indian Restaurant

These are all ok places (not great), but sure make us grateful for our choices we have living in the cities!

Any recommendations out there? We are open to anything and would love to take her somewhere new and delicious!

Thanks for your help!

Best Pho?

Pho Ca Dao is still around and in my opinion the very best. The broth is incredibly flavorful and fresh. Their Pho with a side of thin sliced onions (with vinegar), and their sprout, basil, jalapeño fixings always hit the spot, not to mention it's cheap!

Chicago Weekend Trip - First Timer

We are planning a weekend trip in the beginning of December and my husband has never been. He is looking for a great Chicago pizza experience. We are hoping to find unique places to eat that are convenient to get to from our hotel -

HOTEL ALLEGRO CHICAGO
171 W. Randolph Street

We are trying to stay on a budget and love to find cheap places that really stay true to the culture. Any Asian recommendations for us, Korean, and Thai, Szechuan? Would love to take him to a Ramen house or Dim Sum. Street food would be a fun experience for us too...

We'd like to splurge on a meal too (for us thats up to $100-150 for the both of us). Any recs out there?

Thank you!

Good Korean in MSP

hey fromtheD I think I was there the same evening as you (there were two couples there that night). HAD to post on here, our food was delicious! We had the pork blugogi, FULL of flavor along with the ojingo bokum (sauteed squid and vegetables in a spicy sauce), and the seafood stew and pancake. Everything was as authentic as my mom's cooking (I'm half Korean) and by far the best in the T.C. (in my opinon). We have been to all the other korean restaurants in the T.C and this place is comparable to all the korean gem restaurants you find on both coasts.
All the side dishes were excellent as well, especially the cabbage and cucumber kimchi's...prices are really decent for what you are getting, and the leftovers are even more flavorful the next day...we enjoyed this so much!

Springfield/Eugene Area Trip - Delicious Restaurants?

We are planning a trip out to visit my sister in Springfield, OR. She just had a baby that is keeping her up at all moments and when we visit, we want to pamper her with great food. Would appreciate any suggestions. We love pretty much all different style foods, but my request on any recommendations you might have is that if it's ethnic, it be authentic , not Americanized if you know what I mean. Doesn't have to be a fancy place, just very tasty!!

Appreciate your suggestions on my very first post on Chowhound! Thx.
