Have you been to the Settler's Inn, in Hawley? They've repeatedly won awards over the past..well, at least 15 years (since I worked there as a young lass around then!). Built in the late 1920's, they focus on local ingredients (like vennison and brook trout), and frequently have organic options while staying 'homey'. Lots of New Yorkers make their Victorian Christmas a family tradition!
