Detroit who has the best Fried Chicken and why?
Anyone tried Pollo Chapin? A friend recommended it to me a while back. Apparently it is not traditional down home fried chicken.

I have only been up there for apps and drinks, but it is a nice experience. The view from up there is great. I do not believe that it still rotates though.

Assaggi surprise [Ferndale]
the patio there is excellent, unfortunately it is probably not open much longer. It is definitely unexpected though. Assaggi is definitely a gem in Ferndale. (Just not always in my budget)

Metro Detroit- Fried Chicken
Saw this topic for another City but couldn't find a topic for best or at least recommended fried chicken in the metro Detroit area. So where does one go for really good fried chicken? I have never been that overwhelmed with anything I have tried here.

Any plan that involves Berkley Front is a good plan Berkley isn't that far from Southfield.

Metro Detroit - Share info on great deals!
$2.99 Burgers is Saturdays and I think Tuesday. They also sometimes run specials if there is a Tiger's or Wings game on (any Detroit sport for that matter). The ribs deal is Sunday. Pretty good drink specials as well, i.e. $5 pitchers.
The Best Coney in Detroit area
My favorite is definitely Lafayette.
Another notable is in Pontiac on Updyke, George's I think. Haven't had the coneys at Hawg n Dawg, They are on my to do list now.
