ANTIBES AREA RUN DO NOT WALK
in Vence Les Bachanales is deserving of a second star: great food, beautiful setting, knowledgeable servers and just a comfortable warm welcome from the chef and the staff. LePigeonai is still the standard for well prepared provencal cooking. Le Farigoule gets better every year and the terrace is just perfect. Chez Romano does pasta perfectly and Le Luigi covers our pizza needs, another place with really friendly owners. Vence is a great town for anyone who loves good food and wine and wants to eat in shorts
ANTIBES AREA RUN DO NOT WALK
my wife and I just returned from three great weeks in Vence and dining was a large part of the experience. Our discovery of this trip was L'Armoise located just past the market in Antibes. This is a small room owned and run by Chef Laurent Parrinello and his gracious wife. The menu changes daily depending on the market, the fishermen and his purveyors. On the day we were there his truffle hunter had just showed up which was our good fortune. the food was sophisticated , creative, and fresh. We enjoyed this meal as well as a number of stared spots we've been to in the past. This chef has major league talent. GO
