hitachino in columbus ohio
anyone know where i might be able to find this japanese microbrew in columbus?
i'm really trying to avoid flying in half a case in my suitcase.
Any good frozen yogurt places in Columbus or nearby areas?
i feel your pain! i just relocated from new york where pinkberry and all its imitators have totally taken up the frozen yogurt market. tasti dlite no more!! every time i return to new york, pinkberry is on my list of MUST HAVE items.
nida's sushi in north market has great tom yum/kha and pad thai (she's thai i think). i think the sushi is better than kooma or haiku too.
What's the worst (nice) restaurant you have been to?
second queen's hideaway.
it was refreshing addition to the neighborhood the first and second visits but i vowed never to return after the server refused to seat me at 8:30 on halloween with the entire bank of tables-for-two empty. she told me that there would be a 45 minutes wait. yeah right, there are plenty of spots in the neighborhood with great food but without queen's pretensions.
Corona Queens
i'm making this same trip this upcoming friday to corona! since i'm relocating to ohio at the beginning of next month, i'm really looking for some destination treats from all over the neighborhood.
i will definitely visit leo's for some fantastic sandwiches, but i'd like to snack/snarf down other treats as well. does anyone have recommendations for non-italian fare? i hear corona is known for its latin american cuisine so any suggestions along these lines would be very much appreciated.
thanks!
