It's not a holiday, unless birthdays count -- but I'm driving in from Sedona & need advice on finding the endangered Champagne Sunday Brunch in Phoenix. The Phoenician is a fond memory, and I know Wrigley Mansion is a choice -- but since they're closing for a remodel two weeks later, I'm concerned it won't be as good as it usually is. If anyone has gone recently, or if you know another buffet brunch -- even a casino -- please grant this birthday girl her wish: a table-groaning, free flowing champagne Sunday brunch!

We're going to La Habra around brunch time on Sunday -- any suggestions on a brunch spot, or good mid-day breakfast'lunch spot nearby? I'm totally out of my "chow" element in that area!

Just made reservations at the Phoenician for August only to find out that the Terrace Restaurant & its magnificent Sunday Brunch is closed until the fall! Can you please guide me to next best Champagne Buffet (Wrigley Mansion, etc.) with an elegant feel? It's become our tradition & I don't want to disappoint!

Help me Hounds -- I have to take out-of-town clients to a late lunch near the Culver Studios in Culver City this Thursday. I have zero knowledge of the area -- any & all suggestions appreciated. We only have about 1 1/2 hours.

We are celebrating our 10th Ann. this Thursday, and I was wondering if there's anyplace I'm overlooking, in the LA/West L.A. area. The Bel Air Hotel & waiter Jaime are always amazing, but is any other experience you romantic chows can describe as unforgettable?
