Not much of a drinker, but I'd probably take a glass of red if you offered.
My favorite comfort food:
On sick days or extra cold days... Vietnamese chicken rice porridge (cháo gà), orange juice/ginger ale or sprite, and in bed watching Friends on DVD.
My most tattered cookbooks:
I use Chowhound, smitten kitchen, and Food52 more often than cookbooks. I have a cookbook collection that I leaf through for nighttime reading, but I don't often use them for exact recipes. I read An Everlasting Meal for inspiration.
