Coronado Island Dinner Recos?

Traveling from Boston to Coronado Island for a conference in early October. Seeking recommendations for dinner, medium sized party (4-6 people), price range $18-$30 for entrees. Something casual, regional, yummy, accessible for all palettes but complex enough for foodies (half the guests are eclectically minded, the other half not so much).

Thanks in advance! :)

Breakfast/Brunch in Boston

Thanks all!

Have any of you been to the Paramount on Beacon Hill? I'm hoping that might take us away from all the craziness in Back Bay & South End.

Breakfast/Brunch in Boston

Just moved here and a friend is meeting me in town for breakfast/brunch this Saturday. Price point: can fork over some cash but would prefer not to break the bank. Thanks!

Best "Farm to Table" Dining Spot in Kennebunkport

Joshua's in Wells is great, too. They have great martini/specialty drinks nightly, all made from scratch! I had a raspberry cosmopolitan there last summer that was to die for (homemade raspberry simple syrup=yum).

We ate at 50 local last week, and were really impressed by the food. I had the artic char, which was served with noodles, kimchi, dashi broth, spring veggies....might sound random, but it was DELICIOUS. Their crispy chicken spring rolls were amazing, too.

If you're up for a slightly further drive, you must try Grace in Portland. Best meal I've ever had in town...and we go out to eat...too much :)

What is your favorite vintage kitchen item?

I love my vintage aluminum foil/ wax paper / paper towel dispenser! You can find really sweet versions online, like this one on ebay:

Best Stand Mixer?

I've grown tired of using my basic hand-mixer for labor intense recipes like buttercream frosting, and am ready to fork over the $ for a stand mixer which will, hopefully, stand the test of time.

Any suggestions?

Lobster Mac and Cheese on NH seacoast??

Had this dish at MC Perkins too....absolutely delicious and they give you a HUGE portion!
Great restaurant.

First Time in Portland - HELP! Too many amazing choices in your town!!!!

All restaurants listed here are fantastic! As a former East End of Portland resident, the Front Room is one of my favorite places for brunch, lunch and dinner. Reasonably priced, and open 7 days a week for brunch and lunch.

Duckfat IS good, but went there recently and they upped their duck sandwich price to $14 bucks! That's up at least 5 dollars since a couple of years ago.

Fore street is great. But make your reservations ASAP, as they book up super quick.
We had one of the best meals of our life at Street & Co. about 4 months back...and they're managed by the same head chef as Fore St.

Same sentiment as a few of you about 555--good food, but not blown away.

Dinner recs 'round Tremont St./Wilbur Theater?

Hello fellow chows,

I'm looking for a good & casual place to eat before some friends and I see Mogwai play at the Wilbur theater next Friday. Any recommendations?

One vegetarian will be in attendance....looking for a place that's on the frugal side(10-15$ per entree), and within walking distance to the wilbur. Open to all cuisines.
