Lunch, by myself, at Early Girl Eatery in Asheville. Some kind of awesome portabello burger, sweet potato fries with homemade bbq, local beer, local salad, and something delicious for dessert.

Find more vegetarian-friendly fine dining. I grew up on fine dining, but there's not a vegetarian equivalent in the market most places. Too many times I go with friends who are presented with beautiful, well-prepared and designed meat dishes and I have to content myself with some pasta monstrosity thrown together with the vegetables from the salad prep station, which the restaurant usually charges me an arm and a leg for. There are chefs out there who are willing and able to do creative, delicious vegetarian dishes in a fine dining establishment, they are just few and far between in my experience.
