Need Chicken Recipes

He claims dairy doesn't sit well but he eats indian food all the time which has yogurt in their sauces, so thai chicken curry might work. He's a big butter chicken fan as well but the other one isn't a big fan of indian food (he's crazy, it's so good)

Need Chicken Recipes

I love teriyaki chicken, I suppose I could make rice and noodles and put both on the side for each of my picky eaters. It's just a bit of a hassle, I wish they were less selective.

Need Chicken Recipes

This looks great to me but I just found out one of my picky eaters also hates tomatoes and mushrooms. I don't know how the heck they eat with so many restrictions.

Need Chicken Recipes

That's what I usually do. I wanted to do something different for a change but that's hard to do when they're so darn picky

Need Chicken Recipes

I'm cooking for a couple picky eaters.

They both eat chicken but one doesn't eat rice and the other doesn't eat pasta, milk or cheese.

Ugh, I know. That doesn't leave me with many options, so I need help!

I suppose I could put sauce, if any, on the side if it contains milk or cheese though... anyhoo, recipes are appreciated, links too!

Healthy restaurants and/or cafes in Toronto?

I saw Kalendar about a week or so ago and heard they have Hungarian food which I'm curious about. I'm wondering if it's as good as my Magyar nana makes lol thanks for the suggestion, I'll have to try this place sometime soon

Healthy restaurants and/or cafes in Toronto?

I walk by there all the time and never think to go in, thanks, I'll check it out!

Need A Frosting Recipe (For Cupcakes)

Hey everyone, my boyfriend is turning 28 and I want to make him 28 "1-Up" cupcakes (Super Mario reference).

Anyhoo... I saw these online but they're made with fondant which I don't want to use:
http://cuteyummytime.wordpress.com/20...

SO... what I'm looking for is a good frosting recipe that won't be too melty. I could just buy the Betty Crocker stuff but I'd like to make something similar from scratch, preferably with a Buttercream flavor.

I'll be adding green food colouring as well to make them look like the 1-Ups.

I'd like to be able to smooth the frosting out once it's on the cupcakes so it looks nicer.

I'm probably going to use those flat white chocolate drops for the "mushroom" spots. I just hope they don't fall off!

OR should I just use a confectioners sugar glaze and add food colouring to that? Would that be too melty?

Also, should I frost the cupcakes the day of the party or the day before?

Best Chicken Burger in Toronto?

I will definitely check this place out.

Best Chicken Burger in Toronto?

I heard their burgers were pretty darn good, actually, for a fast food place anyway. I'll check them out but I'd also like to find some place with maybe a pub or patio-type setting where we can grab a pint to with our chicken burgers as well lol

Healthy restaurants and/or cafes in Toronto?

So far these are pretty good suggestions but I should specify that when I say downtown I mean the actual downtown core (I live next to the skydome), so, a bit further south of bloor and not really east of yonge or too far west of bathurst. I'm quite interested in places to eat around Queen West though, I've been to Coca Tapas for lunch and it was pretty good and nothing was overly bad for us... except for the dessert, which c'mon, we still enjoyed.

Healthy restaurants and/or cafes in Toronto?

My friends and I are on a big health kick, so where in DOWNTOWN Toronto can we get healthy eats?

None of us are vegetarians, so we're not really looking to go to one of those vegan places (we still eat chicken and fish, y'know, healthier meats) but then again, we also want to avoid the obvious "greasy spoon" places.

Best Chicken Burger in Toronto?

I'm staying away from red meat these days so where can I find a really, really great chicken burger in DOWNTOWN Toronto?

Downtown Toronto UK Expat Eats?

I'm looking to find some Scottish, Irish, and/or British eats downtown Toronto.
I need to stress downtown, as in, nothing north of Bloor Street or too far west of Bathurst or too far east of Yonge.
The food (and atmosphere) needs to appease a small gathering of expats from the aforementioned countries. Need an expat-friendly menu and environment.

Cosmos + Nibbles? (Toronto)

Ah, nevermind, their website says they're not open on Sundays :(

Cosmos + Nibbles? (Toronto)

That's right by me, nice!

Cosmos + Nibbles? (Toronto)

Alright, so my girlfriends are visiting on Sunday and I'd like to know where in Toronto we can go for some reasonably priced yet well-made Cosmopolitans (or other cocktails) and fun finger foods. Vegetarian friendly would be nice as one out of us 4 doesn't eat meat, however we don't want to go to a strictly vegetarian place.

Also, we'd like to stay downtown because we're going to see a flick at the Paramount/Scotia Bank Theatre

Goji Berries (Toronto)

Where can I find some? Dried or not??
Looking in the downtown Toronto area only (south of Bloor, no further west of Bathurst or east of Yonge)

Rice Pudding (Toronto)

Ah thanks!!!

Rice Pudding (Toronto)

Does anyone know a restaurant or diner in Toronto that has Rice Pudding on the dessert menu???
I'm looking for the downtown or uptown-annex area, actual Toronto (not Etobicoke or North York, etc.)

Thursday Eats + Cocktails (Toronto)

Hello folks, I need some ideas, please, on where to go for an early-ish dinner and happy hour downtown Toronto.
It's just me and girlfriend and we're going straight from work so we'll be a bit dressed up but not really fancy.

Basically looking for a happy hour, Martini Thursdays sort of deal, but also some tasty eats, someplace fairly priced because my friend's on a budget lol

Romantic, Funky, Posh Dinner (Toronto)

Suggestions for a romantic or even funky or posh dinner for two or for a small group within Toronto's downtown area would be greatly appreciated!

Teppanyaki in T.O.?

I recently went to the States and had dinner at KOBE Japanese Steak and Seafood House (http://www.koberestaurant.com/index2....) and now I'm wondering if there's anywhere in Toronto where a person could get some good steak cooked up in the style of teppanyaki - hibachi???

Baking Supplies (Toronto)

Is there anywhere in Toronto, preferably downtown or on the TTC line (as I do not drive) that sells decent, above average, or specialty baking supplies?
I hate going to the grocery stores because they are so completely uninspiring.

Eggs In The Toronto Basket

THANK YOU! Toast Soldiers that is IT! :D

French Toast For One

I'm trying to make french toast using three slices of "Texas Toast" Wonderbread.

I have some questions:

Should I use one egg or two?

How hot should my stove-top burner be on the standard 1 to 10 scale?

How much vanilla should I use?

How much cinnamon should I use?

Do I use milk? How much?

And should I use oil or butter to prep the pan?
