Need a moderately priced restaurant in Fulton street area. attending miracle on Fulton street on a Sat. night in dec. any sleepers in that area I don't know about. Going to Mr. Johns on Friday and Galatoires on sun.so something a little less formal and a little less expensive. |
we had it at Galatoires last year and it was excellent. we're going this year also. |

I'll be in NOLA in December. Will any restaurants be serving soft shell crab or is the season over? |
the answer I was looking for. Thanks to all. Going to 9/11 memorial first to pay my respects. I miss working in NYC but glad I left before the tragedy. |

thanks for replying. I like the dining room they feature on the website but don't know if it is upstairs or downstairs.. |

have reservations next Sat night. First time. Where should I ask to be seated? Need a regular to guide me. It's expensive which I don't mind but don't want to be treated as a tourist. |

BEST DEAL in New Orleans' restaurants? Mr. B's for lunch(cheap bloody Marys) Commanders Palace(.25cent Martinis at Lunch) |
This is exactly what we did Xmas week. $1.50 bloody marys and asked for vodka and tomato juice and worchestshire, hot sauce celery salt and lime on the side and mixed our own. The bartenders were fine with it. |

Suggestions for healthy eating in NOLA? I think eating healthy in NOLA would be considered an oxymoron. Or a waste of time. Try Berkeley. |

Best restaurants for a group of male golfers? You don't necessarily have to sit all together, since you'll be with each other all day long. maybe you could book 2 tables of 8 or 9 and go to any restaurant you want. After a few drinks you'll all be visiting with each other anyway. Check out the scene at Galitoires on a friday afternoon. |

I heard that Galatoires has a new chef.. Any buzz yet about good or bad. ----- |
Does anyone know if you can order a prime rib dinner at the bar of the Rib Room, or do you have to eat at a table. This will be on Sunday nite just after we arrive in city ? |
Need help identifying Galatoires waiter... Any regulars who can help? no, but go to various websites for |
Galatoire's or August for dinner? galatoires for sure. classic and delicious. even the tourists on bourbon street can't ruin it. |
Antoine's - last minute reservation or walk in? I was also disappointed with the oysters rockefeller.I could only taste the goop on top of these tiny little oysters. I was expecting something on the order of a "casino" style dish served sizzling on the half shell. These were, well "yuch". |
Please help me choose between these restaurants for dinner Galatoires without a doubt. everyone should eat there once before they die. ----- |
You'll have to be more specific. Tell us what you like and we'll guide you. |

marriott times square restaurant Sorry I wasn"t clear. We're Married but she's from Boston and really never visited NYC since we met after I left New York for Florida. We're only in New york for 3 nights and One night we're meeting friends at Gallaghers for steaks and one night at Melon for light dinner so I have that one night open for something different. |
marriott times square restaurant that sounds right.. We have a decision for sat. night, should we go for the view of Times Square at night or Balthazar for the in crowd and ambiance. Help! She's a first timer and I worked in the financial area for 20 years. |

marriott times square restaurant Has anyone eaten at the revolving restaurant at the Marriott Marquis? I know it will be touristy but that we expect. I don't want to be taken advantage of though. I realize it will be expensive which I don't mind as long as we're not just plain ripped off. We go to New Orleans often and the restaurants and waitstaff could not be nicer, but I hear New York waiters can be awlful knowing they will never see you again, and assuming you're not a sophisticated tipper. |
