Longueuil restaurant recommendations

I'm renting out an apartment (short term rental) in Longueuil and I'd like to give out restaurant recommendations to my tenants. I don't know the area very well myself. It is located right by the Jacques-Cartier Bridge and the Longueil metro. Any ideas in any part of Longueuil or in the general area? Most tenants have cars.

Need additional dinner option for Quebec City end of March

I went there for a meal on a quick 2 day trip. I'm a Montreal foodie that just happened to stumble upon it when visiting Quebec City. We were surprised by the quality of the food and the service. I had a great time and ate very well.

I really enjoyed "le moine échanson". I feel like it fits your description quite well.

Restaurant reccomendations for a Christmas party in Laval

Any good recommendations for an office Christmas party in Laval? We have about 75 employees. The food needs to be able to please a large range of people with different tastes. Ideally there would be some music or a dance floor. Every year our accountant organizes it at the last minute and it's not that always that great. I'm trying to be ahead of the game this year!

Montrealers, where can I buy fresh or frozen authentic delicious Gnocchi for dinner tommorow, ?

I agree with Milano. I also had some last night that were very delicious and authentic from boucherie chez vito on fairmount and st-urbain (my mom is a born and raised roman Italian - I know my stuff). They don't always have gnocchi, but they had some yesterday so there might already be some left. While you're there get some great meat or ask for a bottle of their family olive oil. It is very nice.

Where can I buy puntarelle for Christmas

My roman grandmother was telling me about her favorite foods at Christmas when she was growing up in Rome. She really loved to eat puntarelle. Are there any being sold in montreal?

Also, she mentioned a traditional turkey soup, with a stock made out of turkey bones, tiny turkey meatballs and gruyere cheese melted on the top. Any idea of what this is or a recipe that I could follow?

Thanks!

Loose tea shops

Does anyone know where, in Montreal, I can buy loose teas and some paper or cloth sachets. I would like to make teas as a gift and I don't necessarily want to be sewing cloth together. Also, does anyone have any ideas as far as taste combinations go?

Thanks!

Pied de cochon, seafood season?

Does anyone know what month PDC starts serving their seafood platters?
