thanks for the recs! i didn't really mean i'm from LA in "that" way, but i think maybe its because we have higher expectations? honestly, its because we pretty much have everything so our standards are pretty high. plus LA really is the best :)

Hello. I need some recommendations on a nice place to have dinner for my dad's 50th birthday.
I'd like to spend less than $100 a person. And would prefer someplace where we don't have to get too dressed up. Maybe a prix-fixe menu?

i don't know about OC, but in on westwood blvd there's a really great place called soleil that has poutine on the weekends for brunch
