Mother's Day Brunch [Scottsdale area]

Any ideas on brunch for this mothers day in scottsdale/carefree that will not break our pocketbooks? We like seafood, pasta, steak, etc... Willing to pay a decent amount of money but do no want to overpay when the food really isnt worth it. We want to eat good food at a decent price...decent being 50+ dollars per person. All suggestions are welcome. Thank you!

Flos asian kitchen

Hey there! The best Thai food in the valley is at Thai Lahna in Phoenix on Indian School and/around 38th street. I tried Thaifoon in scottsdale and was vey disappointed. I like Flos a lot for basic chinese food but Thai Lahna is authentic Thai food, and very good. You'll like it: 3738 E. Indian School Rd, Phoenix, 85018.

Ethnic food - Israel

Hello! Hopefully you're still around to receive this email Ok: in the old city, the American Colony hotel has regular food re: sandwiches, steak, shrimp with a mediterranian flare. The sandwich was pretty much the only semi-western sandwich I found the whole time. The Legacy hotel (kinda snobby) has good food too. It's up the street from the American Consulate. Another restaurant is between the muslim quarter and the Christian quarter called Abu Shukri. It had the best lamb that I have eaten. Beautiful inside...off the beaten path.

In Tel Aviv, the best place ever is an italian-meditteranian restaurant called Boccaccio. It's on Hayarkon across the street from the Dan Tel Aviv near the boardwalk and the beach...it has extremely fresh pasta. I hd the fettuccini marinara (a creamy rose sauce) with seafood. The chocolate almond cake was literally the best cake my husband and I have ever eaten. I definitly recommend it.

Best food (any price pt) Tel Aviv, Jerusalem or Galil?

Hello! My husband and I just returned from Israel and I've been all over the world but Israel has the best food i've ever eaten. There's an incerdibly good italian-mediterranian restaurant in tel aviv called Boccaccio. Web address is www.boccaccio.co.il. I had the fettuccini marinara (creamy) with seafood and the chocolate cake...the chocolate cake was the best ever. It was near the beach and very down to earth. It was obviously family owned and run. There are two hotels in the old city in jerusalem that had good food: the Legacy and the American Colony. The hotels have tourists but don't seem touirsty because everyone is visitng form different countries and speaking different languages. Try the St. Peters fish grilled or baked (they serve it at many restaraunts.) It's really good. Have a safe trip!
