I'm off to try Surya on thursday but in the meantime I can recommend Somosa's near Sunridge mall. Outstanding naan, great butter chicken and many other nice dishes compliment they're everyday lunch and dinner buffet. Now that I think of it I haven't been there in awhile mostly because I make my own East Indian cuisine now but I'm always open to new things.
I learned alot from this personable fellow, a little hard to understand at first but he gives you step by step instructions for many delectable dishes including this one for butter chicken http://www.vahrehvah.com/popvideo.php?recipe_id=797. Try making something from one of his videos and see how close you can come to your favourite dish.
