Looking for good "queso/cheese dip"
Like the Tostitos dip sold in stores, but from a restaurant...and better.
For us southerners, this stuff called "queso" at restaurants always comes back looking like oily cheese fondue. If you know of a place, I would be thrilled to know about it

Ivo and Lulu is BYO in the east village. Amazing. Also, there is a fun Venezualean place in E Vill called Caracas that has good food and is BYo and cheap. Moustache is E Vill and W Vill and is also very good.
Can I find Rotel in New York?
Lobo in Brooklyn is an outpost of an Austin restaurant and serves real "queso" (as us southerners call it!).
