Company Holiday Dinner for 10 on UES

Please help, looking for an elegant restaurant to celebrate our annual holiday dinner for our small company of 10 employees. We'd like to stay in 60s or 70s on UES, and $100 pp before drinks and tax. Menu needs to include steak for our meateaters but a vegetarian option also. We went to TBar last year, and David Burke Fishtail year before that. We are considering East Pole, but would love a less expensive option. Any ideas?

Help! Where should I go for Anniversary Dinner near Millbrook

My husband and I are celebrating our anniversary, so we thought we'd take a short trip to Dutchess County area and check out the Millbrook Vineyard. I am thinking of going to Cafe Les Baux for anniversary dinner. I've never been to this area, and can't find any reviews of this restaurant on this board. Has anyone been there, and would you recommend it for a celebration or do you have any other suggestions?

Did Sally Lings close?

Sally Lings was our regular Chinese restaurant so we have been looking for a place to go also. We just tried Duck KIng in Edgewater and it was delicious. Johns of Shanghai used to be in this location. We had the Peking Duck, and cleaned the plate! My kids loved the beef and broccoli. We also absolutely love Petit Sous Chow in Cliffside Park, but there is always a tremendous wait.

Balloon Festival Food Recommendations?

I thought I would check Chowhound for past recommendations on the food at the NJ Balloon Festival in Solberg Airport.... but there are none!
This is a last minute request, but are there any recommendations?

Holy Octopus! Nisi's of Englewood rocked my world...

Wow! I was searching for a restaurant for my husband and I to celebrate our 10th anniversary... sooooo on your recommendation I'm going to try Nisi. I've walked by it a few times on our way to Namaskaar and was impressed at how busy they were during the week.

We're going next week, I think we will have to order the octopus, and maybe the grilled sardines! Let's see how it compares to Axia, which we love!

Thanks for the review

Authentic Mexican in northern NJ (Bergen County)

If you like the mole, you should try a mole chile con queso dip there. It's not on the menu, but just ask and they'll know exactly what to do. Yummy!!!

Authentic Mexican in northern NJ (Bergen County)

Cinco de Mayo is TERRIFIC. Not so great in terms of ambience but the food is very good. They make a good fresh guacamole for the table and can make it as spicy as you want. I love their Pollo Diablo.

Fiesta Hut is also fantastic. They are in East Rutherford on Park Ave, not far from Park and Orchard. This is the original owner of the Fiesta Hut that used to be on Route 4 where McDonalds is now. They have a chile con queso dip that is addictive, and the best salsa and green sauce anywhere, and I think the best mole sauce in NJ. Also they have a liquor license and have amazing margaritas. I believe 201 even listed them as best margarita one year.

Both are family owned small authentic Mexican not the TexMex sputtering fajita plate kind. You have to go. Only bad side is the service is not always so quick. But still so worth the wait.
