"Home" or "Room" themed restaurant needed
I'm racking my brains for an appropriate spot to have lunch with my bookclub friends this month. I'm thinking a "home" or "room" themed/named place. Like Home, or The Pantry. Or even a restaurant in a house, like Grub. Any ideas?
Vegetarian Thanksgiving?
Honey and I are driving up North for Thanksgiving. We're interested in a delicious vegetarian Thanksgiving dinner in or around SF or Berkeley. In LA, we'd probably get dinner from Real Food Daily or Native Foods (if I wasn't cooking) . . . something in this vein . . . Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
Oysters
Oh man--I eat oysters with those ladies EVERY Sunday at the Hollywood Farmer's Market. I sort of like the no-frills aspect. They're just fresh and delicious! It is so nice to talk to the "farmers" about their oysters while you're slurping away. Wish they served bloody marys :-X
passover vegetarian recipes-HELP
Quinoa is a lifesaver for vegetarians during Passover! The "grain" is really a grass, and thus kosher for Passover. Use it instead of rice or couscous. It is a complete protein and awesome hot or cold!
