Yakima ideas?
Spending 2 nights in the yakima area in July. Would like suggestions as to places to eat. We like pretty much any type of food....hole in the wall or not! Coming from California...but hear that the Mexican food is pretty good in Yakima..... Any place using local ingredients?

As I was checking into things yesterday I saw The Ark had closed. I'll let you know if we find anything interesting. Sounds like 42nd Street is still going strong. I got to thinking about The Santuary (I think in Chinook). ANyone know if it is still around. Haven't checked them out in years!!!!!

We are spending one night in Banff. Where is the one place we should eat? Should we breakfast in Banff or go up to Lake Lousie?

Dockside Grill ~ Sequim
We ate here when we were in Sequim in March...had a very nice meal. It was dark so don't know about the view. I'd recommend it...but liked a place in town even better (but not for fish and chips). I think the name was Alderwood Grill...or something like that. No view but great food.

Dinner near the Arctic Club hotel
We stayed at the Arctic in March and walked to Union. Had a great meal. Wonderful oysters and great fish dishes. Nice wine choices.
BC Rockies and Okanagan
we are going up 95 to Fairmont hot springs then over to to revelsoke and then down 97
BC Rockies and Okanagan
In June we will be traveling from Montana to Fairmont Hot Springs (spending a week in that area) then down through the Okanagan valley. Any ideas about plaes to eat would be appreciated. We like it all...Holes in the wall to fine dining.
