Bitter
While on this note, does American budwiser (not budvar) taste the same as the one in Europe (of little else other than fizzy water) I cannot understand it's popularity.
"We can't be friends..."
"am i insane?"
Don't you tip only when the service is good?
I tip 10% of the bill if the service is good and 0% when it is poor.
Bitter
If my memory serves me correct, I think the XB is a bitter and the XXXB is an ale.
Anyone try these beers?
I have only had the Sam Smith's but I agree it is great, I am lucky enough to live close to a Sam Smith's pub.
Bitter
Most of the posts seem to refer to lagers or cider this leads me to the question, "is bitter popular in the U.S.A?"
Where I come from (Yorkshire, UK), you would be looked at strangley for ordering anything else in a pub, if you are a male.
A true bitter, such as Timmy Taylour Landlord, is a wonderful drink.
(This is my first post - be nice)
