Professor Longhair's Profile

The Best Thing You Ever Ate: New Orleans

I love the Sesame & Ginger Dressed Sashimi Tuna with Cucumber & Avocado from Restaurant One. I also love their sourdough bread rolls.

Best steak in New Orleans

I'm in the Mr. John's camp also. Bloody Mary and Caesar, followed by NY Strip medium rare with cabermet, and then tarimisu. I like that combo so much and it is so perfect I never deviate.

I love the way the steak stays hot from start to finish on the super hot plate w/ butter. In fact, that to me is the downfall of so many other places and their steaks. They either start out cooled or cool down by the time I'm almost finished with the steak.

Clementine's Belgian Bistro - Mini Review

I've only been twice but each time was great. The great Belgian beers are fabulous and the fries are the best, ask for the dipping sauces for the fries. There's so many good places in this area, 9 roses, Kim Son- wished I lived closer.

Brightsen's revisited

I went about a week ago for the first time and was not impressed. I had the same impression at K-Paul's, that every course was too heavy and by the time desert rolled around, I was stuffed. I like Charlie's Seafood a lot though.
