Jazmine Thai Cuisine in West Chester
Finally got there for dinner and it was really great. We will def be back soon as the menu has a gret variety of offerings.
We started with the calamari appetizer. Fresh calamri, lighlty coated and fried wth tangy thai sauce. Also gotthe Thai Tulip, shrimpa nd crab dumplings. My husband loved them, I would give them a B as they were a little dense to my taste.
For entrees I ordered the Drunken Noodles. Great taste, spicey and the fat, wide noodles were cooked perfectly. Also got the Heavenly Sea Bass which was out of this world. A very, very generous serving of sea bass stuffed with spinach and crabmeat. The tamarind sauce was to die for. Excellent portion size and perfect service (we had Guy as our server)

Branzino was great
Went to Branzino on 17th last night and it was really good. I had the beef Capaccio, which I order whenever I can, andit was the best. The filet was butter soft, well seasoned and served well. We also had the frilled calamari. Very good but Tratori Guissepe's in Edgemont still wins.....We had the Branzino whole fish (fileted tableside) andi t was wonderful. Light fish with an olive oil/lemon bath. And veal with eggplant and prosciutto. Really good. Veal was tender and the eggplant/prosciutto balance was perfect!
We chose the backyard courtyard which was lovely. It is enough to think you are at a family party but dark enough that don't know who else is sitting nearby:) Our waiter was good, but the bus people and fileter were sweet and engaging.
We'll def go back!

Dixie Picnic in Frazer!
Great new place in the Lincoln Court Shopping Center! I had the Pork pulled BBQ sandwhich with a sideof pesto pasta salad and it was all delish. I think they bake their own bread, but whatever, it was a fabulous roll, juicy pork and a tany sauce. They also have great looking box lunches for picnics or corporate meetings. And FRESH leomonade. I also got a homemade chocolate cupcake for my husband and I thinnk I heard him moan:) Called "upcakes" they have icing all over.
Eat in at tables with rattan sofas or outside on the sidewalk - or take it home
