I am trying to show the group surprising places in the subway or maybe Grand Central
I already have quite a few places of art and architecture and was hoping a food treat could be included as a real surprise.
as you see it is a most difficult challenge but one I hope to conquer.
we are not talking gourmet we are talking interesting , edible , surprising etc I think you know what I mean
anyway thanks so much for all your thoughts

New Hope / Lambertville Lunch, Dinner, Brunch
Need a restaurant for lunch for a busload of 50 sophisticated seniors from NYC who are used to good food, ambience and on a somewhat limited budget .
This would be before attending the Bucks County playhouse at 2pm in New Hope
My friend remembers the Black Bass Inn from before the renovation but I am seeing so many mixed reviews Has anyone had lunch there lately? or could recommend a similarly attractive spot with GOOD food thinking max for lunch should be $25 with tax and tip no alcohol.
Restaurant week winter 2010
thanks for all help both modern for dinner and quality meats for lunch were excellent choices .
I think tho for myself for ribs I would stick to a heartier type place like Blue Smoke and instead try the steak at quality meats
chinatown new years dinner
Help!
putting together a dinner (actually a late lunch) chinese new year style for about 50 people; Did it at Wing Shoon last year and I am hearing they did not like the food . can't believe it but now need to find another place asap
party is in March to avoid the crowds.
Need good food , round tables, price per table not more that $250 inc tip. Need recs on restaurant to go to in chinatown and which dishes are good in that restaurant for the more or less traditional 10 courses We are mostly Americans, some with limited experience/palate and so I will skip the jelly fish appetizer, shark fin soup etc (also too expensive) (altho I must say I am personally much attached to the wonderful bean soup dessert )
thanks for your help!
