Just a quick question. Can you make reservations through opentable.com once you reach 28 days out, or if you want the restaurant week menu do you need to go through a special link or do it directly with the restaurant?

You can also get really good gelato at Via Vanti by the train station. The pear is amazing.

If you look on craigslist there are at least 3 different people in Westchester offering heirloom tomato seedlings for sale. Go to the "for sale" "farm+garden" section.

I'm relatively new to the area (Katonah), and am planning a brunch this weekend. From searching I see that the best place for lox and whitefish is the Mt. Kisco Smokehouse. I am looking for information about where to get bagels and tuna/egg salads in the area. I would prefer something more local than H&R in New Rochelle.
