Deep dish pizza in Toronto?
i was just there yesterday. i too drove down from Markham. it was really good actually. Its not deep dish though, its stuffed pizza. The menu is a little confusing at first but take your tima and ask them. they were quite helpful. We ordered a King and an original pizza. That was plenty for three guys, The sauce and the crust were stand outs for me. The cheese was just typical. The sauce was homemade and you can tell. The crust was somewhat "flaky and fluffy"... really good. Plus get the dipping sauce... its a nice touch with the dough.
ISO strudel
Im looking for a place that makes a good fruit strudel. Flakey, buttery and fruity. Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks
What do you love and collect?
miniture alcohol bottles. there are certain critiria to be met when i buy them-glass unopened bottles. its a young collection but fun none the less. I have 178 bottles to date. the cool thing too is only three bottles are duplicates.
What should he have done?
not sure if this was an etiquette thing. what i mean is the choice was soup or salad- that puts both into the same category.. no? With that said i would think that the server should have brought out both the soups and salads for everyone. as a former server my rule of thumb is to have as many people eating at the same time.
ISO "smokie" sausages...
Im looking for a deli or meat processor that make in house "smokies" none of that processed meat in a package stuff. im looking for real meat still attached sausages. any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

best burgers in T.O.
i might get blasted for this but i dont know whats so great about Goldenstar burgers. maybe it was the day i went but the burgers were subpar at best. they were small and very "ordinary". maybe i orderd the wrong burger.
But a burger that i was very impressed with was the one at Stockyards. it was surprisingly tasty. definiately worth a try. kind of pricy though
Favourite foods of the CNE
for what the food is at CNE, you cant ask for very much. but a staple for me is the Fresh Lemonade.... so good on a hot day.
BEST BURGERS IN TORONTO!! ??
you beat me to the punch... Stockyards burger was very tasty indeed. nothing special just a good, well balance, dressed burger. i recommend for sure as well.
But to date, Bymark Burger hands down.
BLOWN OFF AT BLOWFISH
if that's the case writing a letter won't do anything. its a smaller place.. i guess they make the rules as they go... too bad.
BLOWN OFF AT BLOWFISH
wow.. that really sucks. too bad because its a really nice place. i hope they see this. no one should be treated like that.

The Great Toronto Hot Dog Taste-Off

O.NOIR (Dining in the Dark)
yeah that is definiately going to be an interesting experience. its a huge hit in Europe i hear. makes you think... how do handle the food, presentation is not nessessary etc.

wow.... that's a steep penalty but good news none the less.
Best All You Can Eat Japanese in Toronto GTA
i went to Ten-Ichi in Sheppard East of McCowen last night. IMO it was the best AYCE place that ive tried so far... and ive been too alot. the reason why its so good is simple....
1) food was good- fresh, tasty, large variety
2) super quick- they are always very busy and to have food served that fast in that quality... great.
3) the service was, compared to the others, outstanding. from the server to the busboy to the owner... very nice.
Definately worth a try.
Ive been to Sukyaki, Sushi on 7, Yangs, Syogun, Nagoya, Hachitarou, Kaze, Akina i think (the place in the grocery plaza on Denison and Kennedy), Wasabi, and a couple of other places that i cant remember the name.
Worst in Toronto
hero burgers are ok IMO. edible at the very least. I did however tried that new burger place called Fulton Burger. It was very good and the sauces are quite unique. worth a try for sure.
