Chatham, MA Night Before the Wedding Dinner [moved from Boston Area board] Hello, Someone suggested the Impudent Oyster to us. Can others give us some other options. |

Options for 250 person retirement party - north of Boston? I haven't been here but I ran across it while recently searching for wedding venues. www.cruiseportgloucester.com I know someone who booked her wedding here and got a good deal b/c it is new. It opens later this month. |

Small Wedding on the Water - Good Chow Can anyone recommend a restaurant, inn, hotel, etc that is located on the water that holds small (10 or fewer guests) weddings? It is most important to us that it be on or near the water so we can have a ceremony there. However, we'd prefer that they have facilities should there be bad weather. GOOD chow and drink are musts. They must be willing to accomodate a small party. We live on the N. Shore but are open to places on the cape and islands also. Thanks in advance for your help! |

Majestic Dragon on Route 1 in Ipswich Thanks, Steve. The place is Royal Orchid. I think it is pretty good Thai. It is priced higher than some of the Thai places in the city near my work but very close to my house for those Thai cravings. |

Majestic Dragon on Route 1 in Ipswich Has anyone been? We are new to Rowley and are in desperate need of some Chinese. My boyfriend likes pu pu platter and fried rice, very standard stuff. Is the food at this place ok? |

In Ipswich, you could go to the Clam Box. Then the Choate Bridge Pub has a pretty nice atmosphere. I'm not sure if I'd call it a "dive" but it is definitely nothing fancy. |

Restaurant Gift Certificate for a Wedding Gift Greetings from a Boston Chowhound, My cousin recently got married. She and her husband live in Chicago. I would like to get them a gift certificate to a restaurant. I would prefer to spend about $100 for two. I know that she loves steak and I believe they might like seafood. I'm not sure about now, but growing up she wasn't exactly adventurous when it came to cuisine. Any suggestions you could offer would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance! |

I went there a couple of weeks ago. While the view was great, the food was not. It wasn't "bad", but not a Cape Ann "must-eat." |
