What do I do with these cocktail onions?

I got a jar of cocktail onions to make a mufaletta relish and I don't know what to do with the rest. I'm not a big cocktail drinker. Any ideas for cooking with or otherwise using these? Thanks!

Help with Union Square Cafe's Bar Nuts!!

I know this is a little late in coming, but Cooks Illustrated thinks the best way to do spiced nuts is by using egg whites. I couldn't find their recipe online but here's one from smitten kitchen using an egg white (toss nuts in egg white, then spices, then toast). http://smittenkitchen.com/2008/12/sugar-and-spice-candied-nuts/ I've noticed these recipes tend not to use butter but maybe some could be tossed on after toasting? I think I'll give it a try - I have a big bunch of rosemary from a food swap :)

Simple things you can't get right

Thanks everyone for the tips! I think part of my problem is that I always *think* I've added enough liquid, but it always ends up getting absorbed after a few hours. A pressure cooker sounds like a great idea. I don't have one but probably should - I live in Boulder, CO and lentils seem to take forever to cook at this altitude. Good luck with the pressure cooking sueatmo!! I'd love to hear how it turns out :)

Hummus. It's only what, 4-5 ingredients? It drives me nuts that countless restaurants seem to be able to produce acceptable versions. I dream of creamy delicious hummus like I used to have at Hummus Place in Manhattan. In reality mine starts out being mediocre and then hardens like cement after an hour in the fridge.

Denver/Boulder Green Chile Sauce Recipe

Don't know if you've found this already, but here's a link to the Santiago's site. They have images of their chile labels and you can read the ingredient list.

Looks like tomato is included...

Looking for Sushi grade fish near Boulder/Denver

I've been wanting to roll up some of my own sushi lately and also wanting not to make myself sick :) I'm living in Boulder and haven't had much luck finding a source for sushi grade fish. Sunflower said that their tuna could probably be used for sushi but not their salmon. Safeway and Whole Foods both said they don't carry it. Does anyone know where to go for this? Near Boulder would be ideal but I would also consider a trek down to Denver. Thanks!
