Cafe Ronda on Columbus bet. 71-72 has good small plates, Spanish and other varieties of Latin. Good drinks. Noise level depends on the time of day.

there are a host of restaurant supply houses in the city, many of them on The Bowery below Houston Street. you might also check Broadway Panhandler on East 8th Street for high quality equipment aimed at both restaurant and consumer markets.

favorite dog friendly restaurants UWS
I haven't been this year, but the patio at the West 79th Street Boat Basin is pet friendly (and a beautiful location) and the servers have provided water and dog biscuits to my friend who sits under the table.

I've been looking into the same thing, ragna, and so far came up with two: Karczma in Greenpoint, Brooklyn and Veselka in the East Village in Manhattan. Both come highly recommended but I've tried neither yet.

A voce Columbus Circle
While my reaction was not as strong, I also had a negative experience at A Voce Columbus Circle. Service was inattentive and the food was just okay. Given the prices and the marketing, it was a pretty big disappointment.
That being said, I have only been there once, although I have no plans to go back for a second try.

Manhattan Fruitier delivers all over town. The fruit is expensive but very good. Don't know about the cheese.

Same here, once for lunch. I sat at the bar, but the service was good (not great). I thought the food was very good. And the fresh lemonade was the perfect way to cut through the creamy chowder sampler.

When did Maialino move to the Lincoln Center area? Maybe we should ask for clarification about distance from Lincoln Center, or just assume that "near Lincoln Center" means that.

If your group is looking for a party atmosphere, think about Rosa Mexicano across the street from Lincoln Center. If the food is a more important consideration, maybe Picholine on West 64th St. would suit.
Is either A Voce worth trying?
I was there a couple of weeks ago. It seems like a work in progress. As Davy noted, some of the food was good, none great. A highpoint: the floor manager pointed to my empty wine glass and asked if I wanted another. When I told her I had been waiting for the glass to be filled the first time, she apologized and provided a drink on the house. Staffers are making an effort, but they have a way to go.

Carolina Oyster Roast or Frogmore Stew in Manhattan?
I can't quite tell from the original post what an oyster roast is (is it something as simple as oysters cooked whole?). The Oyster Bar in Grand Central has oyster pan roast and oyster stew, both of which are very good but soup-like items. They have some of the best shell fish in Manhattan, so you might want to see if they'd cook your critters the way you want them.
Lunch for 10-20 pp near W. 72nd
On the block of 72nd St. between CPW and Columbus are Trattoria Sambuca and Dallas BBQ. Either would be able to handle your group, each has reasonable prices. The food at each is pretty good but not better than pretty good.
ouest, dovetail, telepan?
All three of your candidates have excellent food, IMO. I find that Telepan does the best job of highlighting seasonal ingredients and concentrating/highlighting the flavors of every dish. I also find it to be the most relaxed (not as noisy as Ouest, with service excellent but less formal than Dovetail).
If you want to add a candidate, look into "81" across from the Museum of Natural History. Also wonderful food, also terrific service.

Best steakhouse near 341 W 36th St NYC?
Keen's is great, but if location is critical, take a look at Uncle Jack's. It's at 440 Ninth Ave., between 34th and 35th St. All the usual steakhouse foods done very nicely, good service and a lively bar scene. 212-244-0005.
Trenton eats easily accessible from NYC?
If you're looking for something a bit more formal, consider Pete Lorenzo's Cafe. It's directly across the street from the Trenton train station, and a lunchtime hangout for New Jersey politicians and lobbyists. Serves good steaks and chops and some Italian food. It seems to be a little less lively at dinner time, but the staff is friendly and the food pretty good. With Trenton's Chambersburg now only a memory of the once lively Little Italy it was, Pete Lorenzo's is one of the few options in the neighborhood of the train station.
