What's good in West Sacramento?

my daughter recently moved to West Sacramento and are scouting out the food places.
We found a little Taqueria on West Capital Ave: "Birrierea la Piedad."
Friendly service, clean and very good Chorizo and eggs.
We have also tried out the Hawaiian Place in the shopping center on Jefferson Blvd. it is very good and reasonably priced, it is on my speed dial although it is a chain.
We are exploring further....
Does anyone have any other good food places to share?

El Quetzal, Guatemalan food in Reno

Hi Steve, I am wondering if you ever tried the Peruvian place on Fulton Ave. also known as "Waffle King"?
I have posted on this board regarding this restaurant and not recieved a lot of feedback.

Peruvian food on Fulton Ave.

actually I have been around for a while on this board, I noticed a core group of Sacramento Hounds who are involved, and knowledgable, however it does not seem to be enough to sustain a level of exitment such as San Diego for example.
No, Friday night did not work out for me to go to Karioke, will do it this week.

Peruvian food on Fulton Ave.

since my original posting I have looked up this place on Yelp.com.
There were 14 postings regarding this place, most of them praising the escabiche and seconding your opinion on the breakfast for the most part.
I am dissapointed in the lack of both, food curiosity and lack of participation by the Sacramento Hounds.....no lack of Hamburger discussions though...

Best Breakfast in New Orleans

I recommend the Cake Cafe in the Marigny, located on Chartres and Spain.
Everything is good, great ambiance, I especially love the Shrimp and Grits.
I don't know where the Windsor Court is, but the Marigny is a very interesting neighborhood, well worth venturing out for.

I am going to give it a try tonight, they have Karioke on Friday evenings, interesting combination in the hood.

Yes, it is in Sacramento, sorry about not clarifying in my initial post.
Location is on Fulton, going north, between El Camino and Marconi Ave.

I was recently told about a place called "Waffle King" on Fulton Ave., located right next to the European Market (Ukrainian store).
The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and they are also serving Peruvian food.
I wonder if any of you guys have been there and what you think of this place as well as
suggestions regarding this kind of food.
I am not knowledgable about Peruvian food and want to learn about it.

restaurant "Feelings"

I have heard wonderful things about the ambiance at the restaurant "Feelings" in the Marigny.
How is the food ? And what do you recommend?
Thanks in advance
