Cheapest Sushi in LA?
Where are the cheapest sushi joints in town? As a broke college kid, quality isn't as important for me. Two places I go to:
1. Fat Fish (Happy Hour all plates 1/2 off, and after 8pm $2 all plates)
2. Sushi Mac (All sushi plates $3)

Downtown Happy Hour...
Mccormicks and Schmicks downtown happy hour raised its prices. The burger is now $2.95 made with cheaper tasting ground beef. It's not nearly as good as the other locations..

Anyone ever try this hidden classic donut/deli shop in San Gabriel? Its run by a little Asian lady that bakes up some nice decent donuts and makes some damn good sandwiches. I used to do a little work down there and frequented her shop for some Roast beef/Turkey/Ham/Tuna sandwiches. These sandwiches were simple, but they some of the best damn sandwiches I have ever tasted. I always get her ham sub, stacked high with 5 slices of ham, shredded lettuce, tomato, onions, mayo, toasted bread with a side of banana chilis, perfect. It might seem small and simple, but I would choose this sandwich over and subway/quizno sub and fill me more than I can get from a footlong. Everyone that I've brought to this place agree with me. The secret ingredient? -the love this little lady puts into these sandwiches. TRY THEM
