Station House - Bronxville

I realize this is a bit off-topic, but I am wondering how the food at Station House compares with Pete's Tavern on the other side of the train station. I have not been to either and was thinking of trying one or the other.

Cerbone of Naples, White Plains

We enjoyed our dinner tonight; veal parm. was excellent, pounded thin the way I like it. Sauce was also very good. The only negative was that I forgot to ask for the side of pasta to be al dente. Attentive and friendly service; will definitely be back!

Cerbone of Naples, White Plains

I bought a coupon for Cerbone of Naples several weeks ago and am planning to have dinner there this weekend. Do you recommend any particular entrees?

OMG!!! H Mart is opening in Hartsdale, NY!

I purchased a package of Yakisoba noodles the other day. Does anyone have any good recipes? My family does not eat anything spicy.

King Street Restaurant/Bar - Chappaqua

I just passed by and noticed the restaurant that has replaced Grappolo Locando is now open. Anyone been?

The Grappolo space in Chappaqua...

I was told that the owner of Bissell House in Ridgefield, CT is opening in the space. It is a restaurant/bar type place that gets mixed reviews on Yelp. I have never dined there, anyone else know anything about it?

Louie's Linguine-Pleasantville

Has anyone tried it ? Drove past it the other day and parking lot was full.

Best restaurant for Lobster dinner-Oqunquit/ Kennebunkport vicinity

Been returning to the area for many summers and am tired of the same places(Ogunquit Lobster Pound, Cape Neddick LP, Mabel's Claw, Lobster Shack). Informal is fine, but do not want to eat at a picnic table/benches. A view of the water would be nice but not necessary and menu should have some variety, since husband does not eat lobster.

Casual Lunch in Solvang

Will be stopping here for lunch tomorrow and would appreciate a casual/fun place, nothing gourmet, just good salads and sandwiches, etc. that captures the uniqueness of Solvang.

Santa barbara restaurants for lunch/dinner - one night stopover

Need some recommendations for Santa Barbara restaurants for lunch and dinner. Casual, fun, no more than $35 pp/entree. Nothing too gourmet, could be continental, seafood.

Florida Honeybell Mineola Tangelos in Westchester?

I bought several Florida Honeybell Tangelos yesterday at the Mount Kisco Fruit Farm on Moger Ave. for 99 cents each. They also had Mineolas, but the owner said they were not as juicy as the Honeybells.

Update on Italian Restaurants in Westchester

Has anyone dined at Toscana in Eastchester? We thought we would give it a try, but I have not seen any reviews posted.

Mighty Joe Young's Hartsdale/White Plains, NY closed??

Has anyone tried Benjamin's yet? I am waiting for some chowhounders to review it.

Visiting Stockbridge, MA

Would appreciate some restaurant recs. Visiting Stockbridge in October and would prefer a pretty place for dinner( not too fancy), with a varied menu, nothing too gourmet. Thanks!

Richmond/Visiting near Fairfield Inn NW- restaurant recommendations

looking for several reasonably priced restaurants in the vicinity. continental or american cuisine.

El Sabor de Michoacan paletas in Thornwood

I stopped in for their rice pudding pop(my favorite), delicious with a few raisins mixed in. These pops come from a store on North Ave. in New Rochelle. Althought they do not carry the vast selection that the New Rochelle store does, I am thrilled that I do not have to make the trek down to New Rochelle anymore. I hope they are successful; Spread the word!

Crew in greenwich anyone been?

I am also trying to find out about this place. They only have their fall menu posted on their website.

One if by Land Two if by Sea

We will be dining here in the very near future. Any recommendations and thoughts about your dining experience would be appreciated.

Luna Piena - East 50's/Anyone been?

We have an event to attend at the Waldorf on Saturday night and wanted to eat dinner in the vicinity. This restaurant looks appealing and prices seem fairly reasonable, but I do not know anything about it. Anyone been?

Stringy Brisket- Why? [moved fro Kosher board]

Twice lately, I have made brisket in the oven and it has come out stringy. I am cutting it against the grain, as always and browning it on top of the stove first. I made a 3 lb. piece( 1st cut brisket) with several onions, ketchup, water, seasonings, etc., my usual recipe and was in the oven for about 3 hours. It was tender, but stringy and other than these two times, it has always come out fine. If any one has any recommendations/suggestions as to what they think the problem is, I would appreciate it.

Salad Pizza in Westchester?

The salad pizza at Dom & Vinnie's in Briarcliff, right next door to Curves is very good. What makes it special are the artichokes. I also put a little bit of their dressing on it. Delicious!

Westchester Breakfast Club

Sorry to say that On the Way Cafe in Rye is out of business. Went there for breakfast several weeks ago and was closed and sign in window says For Rent. Too bad!

Willow Grove, Pa.

I am visiting a relative tomorrow in Willow Grove, on South York Road(Route 611). Are there any decent places to dine for lunch or dinner within a 10 mile radius? Nothing fancy and we are not interested in going into Philadelphia; just going for the day from NYC. Thanks!

Clifton Park, NY Restaurants- Any Special Ones to Recommend?

We ended up at Cornell's in Schenectady, since we had been there once before and enjoyed it. I had a veal/ lobster tail francese entree that was delicious. My husband, who is a very picky/plain eater, had veal milanese. It was a bit disappointing; it was pounded down very thin, which is fine, but was greasy and bland. The service was excellent, but I would try somewhere else next time.

Clifton Park, NY Restaurants- Any Special Ones to Recommend?

Right you are! I was looking for Italian/continental, but it could be casual, as long as the food is good. It seems like we will have to go to Saratoga, Schenectady or Albany. Does anyone know how the new Brandon's is?
