The new Calgary Farmers' Market at Blackfoot Centre will open tomorrow
So finally made a trek over to the new location and yes parking is needs a lot of work. But overall it feels more like a strip mall with some nice food vendors. Not sure what the plans are for the summer but if you are looking for just fresh produce I would goto Crossroads Market as from my experience they sell same stuff and quality.
The new Calgary Farmers' Market at Blackfoot Centre will open tomorrow
Ouch going to disagree with you there its a so so market but nothing compared to granville island in Vancouver they actual get framers produce. It is what we have in Calgary which is okay but not cheap or has a big wow factor.

Mongolie Grill Edmonton – What happened to the prices and service??
I don't think that this is anything new it has always been overpriced for what you get. Better to spend your money a different restaurant and get better value..

Yes if they are Chinese restaurants they are mostly open on Xmas day. Also Chinese grocery stores are open as well and this is usually one of the busiest days of the year for dim sum.

What's your fave rice in Calgary?
It depends what you are trying to make as rice is very different from Japanese sushi rice, Jasmine Rice, and Basmati Rice. Me I like the sticky Japanese rice as I can make rice balls with the left over rice. If you go to an Asian store you will see many different kinds of rice it all depends on what you are looking for.
