In these difficult economic times it's difficult for an expensive kosher establishment
to make a go of it. Soho or Tribecca does not draw a lot of observant jews. I believe
they really have to be something very special to make a go of it and not just another
Nanou or Box Tree which were beautiful places that lasted only a very short time.

Wrong! They did two off site Dairy functions that I attended. They came in and brought their own
kitchenware. They served the most delicous pasta and fish you could imagine.

I visited Chennai Garden today and the food there was absolutely dellcious.. Contrary to what
Koshertopia states, this Restaurant is back open for business and as good as ever.

I go to Trader Joe's on the UWS all the time. Management has told me the Rabbi who used
to certify their cakes has departed, therefore, the cakes have lost certification. This situation has been ongoing since June.

No, there was a place in the mid 90s around the corner from the Midtown NYPL
on 40th street. it had excellent food. There was also Edible Pursuits on 5th Avenue
and Brownies on 5th and 16th street.

Greener Pastures was a wonderful place; however it was located on the East
Side near 59th and Lexington Ave. i believe the dairy place you are referring
to is Farm Food in the Theatre District. I also have fond memories of Brownies
on 16th street. There was also R. Gross Dairy, as well, on Broadway.

My family and I returned before the holidays from a delightful stay at this wonderful retreat
in Bar Harbor Maine. Having stayed at a number of B and B's previously, I can tell you one will not be disappointed by the incredible setting of the Shorepath Cottage situated on Frenchman's Bay in the heart of Bar Harbor. The Breakfast's were delicous to say the least,
including fresh fruit, omelates, pancakes, yogurts, granola, and the moust mouth watering
freshly made bundt cakes and muffins you can imagine. Everything about our stay at the Shorepath made for a wonderful vacation getaway. Roberta Chester runs a very proffessional, yet homey, operation. Our rooms were immaculate and prepared for us upon
our arrival. We hated to leave and look forward to returning.

Moishe's Second Ave kosher bakery makes the poppy seed kind. Also, the East Side Bakery on Grand Street gets them from other stores.

mini danish(very fresh), brownies etc. We live on the UWS and have used Supersol previously for a different evemt. Their food was not as tasty
and they were less than helpful regarding people to set up the event.

They are much cheaper than Supersol, or any other Manhattan caterer. The food quality was very good, with the exception of the fresh fruit platers. The fruit was not fresh.

The prices being quoted does not include the rental fee you pay per person when you go to a non exclusive catering facility. We are also planning a wedding for
approx. 400 people. When we called any facility not covered by an exclusive caterer the minimum charged was 30 dollars per person on top of the catering fee.

My Most Favorite to open on West 72nd Street
MMFM is terribly overrated, as well as overpriced. Who is going to pay 30 dollars
or more for a small piece of fish in this economy. Terrible idea for this entity to
open on UWS. Besides, there desserts are not what they are cracked up to be.
