Looking for upscale casual near Horshoe Resort? This request was for my daughter and some friends that were spending the weekend in that area and although there were obviously no reply's to this post, they went to Michael's and Marions based on previous posts. The report from them (with no exceptions) was that it was a fantastic meal and excellent service. |

Good and Kid-friendly in Cobourg? Try John's Junction, the outside is deceiving (strip mall looking), but very comfortable inside, interesting menu for Cobourg and excellent food. Buttermilk Cafe on mainstreet is pretty consistent and popular. Oasis has been an old standby for years, but hear they are hit and miss lately. |

Looking for good Eats in Kingman, Sedona, Grand Canyon Village, St. George and along the Route? My Wife and I are from Canada and are doing the "National Parks Motorcycle Tour" in April and will be staying in Kingman, Sedona, Grand Canyon Village and St. George before returning to Vegas. We are looking for some Chowworthy recommendations either in these towns for dinner or along the route for lunch. Searches on this board have Sedona pretty well covered .....Elote Cafe and Cowboy Club and Flagstaff ... Salsa Brava and Brandy's Bakery, but not much else. Open to all types of food, unique places with a bit of local character would be a bonus, but nothing to fancy as it is casual dress as we have to pack light. Hope you can help us out as we are certainly looking forward to our trip. Thanks |

It's a little out of the way, but there is a guy serving bbq in Keene (north side of rice lake) at a place called Muddy's Pit BBQ that is exceptional. He serves a brisket sandwich that is second to none. Only open wed. to sat. 11 to 8. |

Authentic southern BBQ spots in TO? I have never done it, but I am told that with a small boat you can go up the Indian River from Rice Lake right to Keene .... contact the Indian River Campground? they might have more info |

Authentic southern BBQ spots in TO? It's not in TO and it's only open Wed to Sat. but Muddy's Pit BBQ in Keene (north side of Rice Lake) is serving up some great BBQ and even the digs feel down south. |

Anything Chowworthy in Lincoln NH We are a small group (5 or 6) older guys attending the Laconia bike week but will be spending a few days in Lincoln NH so looking for some good breakfast and dinner places, not expensive or fancy, just good food with a little local character would be a bonus. Of course any evening adult beverage places would suit us also. Tried searching this board but couldn't find much. Thanks |

Heading up to Curve Lake (Peterborough Area) We had lunch today at Marks Finer Diner for the first time and both of us give this place two thumbs up. Very friendly people and great food, the only down side is going to be the lineups to get in when more people find out about it. |

First time visitor to Haines City A Toronto chowhounder visiting Haines City for the month of April is looking for unique places to eat that have some character, nothing fancy just good quality. The only thing I can find by doing a search is a taco truck, so that's on the list. Open to all rec's but a good Mexican place would really be appreciated as we cannot get that up here. . Thanks |

Where to get the best Frozen or Fresh Chicken Wings? Thanks for the responses. Yes I do know that Costco has fresh wings but as per Choclatemama they are always seem to be on the small side. I am looking for good size wings. Need them for this weekend, so it's looking like St. Lawrence Market or T@T. ...As I am coming in from the east T@T may be closer unless anyone has suggestion for farther east,. ----- |

Where to get the best Frozen or Fresh Chicken Wings? I am looking for a place to get the best (must be a good size) chicken wings for making at home. I have had the the brand that Costco sells (Pitchy?) and they are the best I have ever found for a breaded wing, but they don't have any plain, which I need for a homemade recipe. Thanks |

I am helping organize a large party for about 60 people and am looking for some easy to prepare Hors D'oeuvres so I naturally thought of Costco. Has anyone had anything that they really enjoyed? Thanks |
