Birthday dinner in Kuala Lumpur recomendations
For authentic food and I you like seafood, then maybe Meng Kee Fatt in Ampang. Good seafood especially the crabs. Its a BYO, so you can have a great meal with your own wine.
Sage is good but its more a fusion kinda of place. Not authentic in the true sense of the word but a very nice option.

Don't forget to try the french toast. Its not really french toast in the tradtional sense but very yummy with kaya in the middle. Sinful but very delicious... And yes, the coffee is about the best in KL.
