Best meal I ever ate:

Plogue A Champlain from Au Pied de Cochon, Montreal. Martin is a mad genius.

My current drink of choice:

Kawartha Martini : Equal parts of Vodka, Ice Wine, and Champagne (or Cava) stirred in ice, served straight up. Really, you gotta try making one.

I really wish I could:

Find real Neapolitan Pizza in Toronto - Done : Queen Margherta Pizza on Queen E

My "Go-to" dinner party dish:

Pork Carnitas Tacos.

My favorite comfort food:

My Osso Buco.

My top 5 favorite restaurants:

1) Sorbillo's Pizzeria in Naples 2) Gruenen Blatt Chinese chicken in Graz Austria (sadly now closed per a recent visit, but they gave me the recipe 20+ years ago and the dish lives on !) 3) Corner Bistro burgers in NYC 4) Kum Hong Chinese BBQ Pork in Vaughn (I know, I know, but I really like it) 5) Luzzo's Pizza in NYC.

My most tattered cookbooks:

Red and White Better Homes and Gardens Cookbook. It got me started as a teen and it's completely covered in duck tape.
