My kids will eat eggplant to sushi. Just about anything. We love Thai, Spanish, Italian, Greek. A fun atmosphere would be nice. Thanks for the help!

While researching for an upcoming dining tour of the Bay Area I came upon this from the appetizer menu of La Provence , "While water is great when you exercise, it’s actually bad for a good digestion. We will pour it on request only."

This was news to me. A short investigation led to this from the Mayo Clinic website,
"There's no concern that water will dilute the digestive juices or interfere with digestion. In fact, drinking water during or after a meal can actually improve digestion."

Does anyone know the pretzel croissant Lady?
Last year during a visit to the Bay area we found a woman that sold a "pretzel croissant" at the Thursday Berkeley farmers market. They were very good and we are hoping to find her again when we visit 5/13 through 5/18. Thanks.

SF Farmers Markets & Groceries
We will be visiting 4/13 through 4/18 and intend to visit the Berkeley farmers market on Thursday afternoon and the Ferry Building farmer market on Saturday. Does anyone have a suggestion for other markets? Our last time to the bay area we visited the Berkeley Bowl and we intend to return. Does anyone have a suggestion for other interesting food stores? Thanks!
