I love the Screen Door on Burnside for casual dinner, great cocktails, great food, great service. It is often crowded, and it is a bit loud, but my husband and I love it for a fun night out. It is southern style food. We like the smoked brisket, and fried green tomatoes.

Thanks, Jade Garden and Green Leaf sound great. My kids are 8 and 4, Old enough to not need high chairs but not ready for the fancier places. They would like a bus trip so we might check out Cafe Presse, thanks for the bus info. and I love Ethiopian, I'll save that for when I visit without my girls, thanks for all the advice.

Hi, we are spending 3 days visiting Seattle, and are staying downtown, no car. We like to walk and are happy to try the busses. We like all types of food, but we are looking for casual, easy with the kids, restaurants. Any recommendations?
