Family Style Italian Catering in Arlington/Falls Church?

We're trying to find a local restaurant that will do family style Italian catering in the Falls Church/Arlington area. We'd like to pick up something from the restaurant and take it home for a small group of people so we dont need a large catering service. I've seen some online catering menus at Anthony's and Pietanza and also called Faccia Luna who said they could put something together. We've eaten at all of these places and definitely enjoy the food regularly (prefer Pietanza and Faccia Luna). Has anyone had anything catered from one of these places or have any other local suggestions?

good food in National Mall area

If you're going to be in the Penn Quarter area (Jaleo and Zatinya), make sure you stop by the National Portrait Gallery - many consider this the best Smithsonian museum after the National Gallery of Art. Proof is an excellent wine bar across the street from the Portrait Gallery for pre-dinner drinks (and a good dinner too if you want to wait).

Dinners in Union Square, Pacific Heights, or Marina neighborhoods...

Thanks for the detailed info. Luckily we'll be starting our trip off on a Saturday morning so the market should work out. I'm looking forward to experiencing the city for a few days. I havent made it to the Mission neighborhood to eat before...it's definitely on my list for this trip.

Visiting foodies need French restaurant rec

I agree with the Bistro Bis recommendation.

Need Rec for DuPont Circle

For a great French restaurant that has a very relaxed atmosphere (can get busy at times, but a very convivial environment), try Bistro Du Coin. Prices are relatively affordable for the quality of food.

Dinners in Union Square, Pacific Heights, or Marina neighborhoods...

My wife and I are heading from DC to SF and the wine country during the first week in April. Staying in the Embarcadero area primarily so that we can hit up the Ferry Building and market each morning. May try out Slanted Door one day for lunch.

We'd like some advice on places for dinner for two nights in SF. One night in the Union Square area and another night in the Pacific Heights or Marina neighborhoods. Any type of food is good (we already have reservations at Bouchon for one of our nights in the wine region so likely wont go to French restaurants in SF). Contemporary American, Latin American, Mediterranean are all favorites. Not too concerned about price but dont want something outrageously expensive. Thanks for the feedback.
