Teahouses in LA and/or the Valley?

I've been travelling around the Middle East and Eastern Europe this past year and will be coming back to LA in July. I have been CRAVING teahouses for some odd reason for the past few months. I have been to the Gilded Rose in Northridge when I came home for break and that wasn't too bad at all. I was wondering if anyone could recommend their favorites in the Valley/LA area and the ones that are most UK authentic.

Israel dining questions.

The King David Hotel in Jerusalem has the best Kosher Shabbat menu. I have gone there numerous times for shabbat, and they have menus where you can choose your appetizer (soups or salads), fish, entree, and dessert. Though their chalot aren't that good, their food is pretty good for shabbat food (though i dont know if that's saying much).

the best food in Israel?

I've lived here in Jerusalem for a year, and the best falafel and schwarma places in my experience have been just the little mom n' pop stands run by arabs. My favorites are the falafel stands on har hatzofim (mt scopus), near gevat tzafradit (french hill) and kfar hastudentim (the student village...dorms). They're also super cheap too, costing about 10 shekels for a falafel with the works in a lafa

Awesome/affordable mexican food near LAX?

I am taking a friend out for dinner who is staying at the Los Angeles Airport Westin Hotel. Any good eats in that area?

The Best Deli in LA

I like Brents' Matzo Ball soup..the only problem with it is that the matzo ball is almost too big (its softball sized) and the top of it gets dry as you go along eating it.

Kosher Gourmet? is there such a thing....

Leah Adler is a very nice woman, but I thought that the food was so-so..nothing special really.

I also noticed that it had a "B" rating from the Health people..not always a good sign, especially knowing what the people with the "A" rating can get away with.

Where could i find the best falafels and M.E. cuisine in LA?

i'm not walking to whereever i'm going (classes havent started yet) i'm just picking my friend up from her summer school and driving back to Moorpark where we live outside of the school year..

I've been to the middle east and i'm looking specifically for falafels that are the closest to the ones you can get there.

Brent's Deli

it's right next to the Hyatt and across from Gelson's.

I talked to a waitress at the Northridge location because i was worried about the food quality at the new place...she explained to me that half of the wait staff and half of the cooks from Northridge are going over to the Westlake one, thus ensuring that the quality stays somewhat the same :-) Also, this new one is supposed to have a full bar which is always nice.

Where could i find the best falafels and M.E. cuisine in LA?

My friend has never had a falafel before and i would like to have her first experience be a good one. Preferably one in the UCLA area, but it doesn't have to be.
