Store a major portion of a big game animal. I need a bigger freezer.

Caraway pot roast with sour cream gravy, or sourdough waffles--I prefer entertaining for brunch.

Milk, cornbread, mashed potatoes, beef stew

Takashi, Cucina Toscana, Aristo, Market Street Grill, and Caputo's Deli

My most tattered cookbooks:

Sunset Easy Basics for Good Cooking, printed in 1976. My mom received it as a wedding present and I've been cooking out of it since I was a teenager. Also the Better Homes & Gardens Red Plaid Cookbook, the King Arthur Flour Baker's Companion, and my new favorite, How to Cook Everything.
